Do you really think you can change anything by making art?
... or, shouldn't artists really be a little bit humbler? Is the purpose art to have pretty things or to change the way people think and understand the world? A great modernist conundrum.

Everything changes the world.
You can't not change the world, no matter what you do. I dare you to not change the world for a single day. Butterfly wings, carbon footprints, and all that. Whether you make art or aglets, you do what you do; there it is, and there you are.
